I'm at work right now and having a few moments with a customer where I just stopped caring if the issue is solved or not.
They are not listening to anything I say, they are talking over me sooooo much I can't even hear myself talk when I do and it should have been a simple process to complete with their computer. They turned a normal 10 minute process into 40 minutes and then told me when I asked to restart their computer that they are talking to me ON the computer and their phone connection with me would drop...
Really? Seriously? You use phone service through your computer when you are calling in for technical support with your computer? OH MY WORD!
I don't understand.
Mind you it is Saturday at work and all the crazies save up all their calls for the weekend and call. I have had so many customers tell me that they only wait for Saturdays to call because the rest of the week they are too tired to do anything else and only want to try technical support on Saturday.
It's like, geez, I know I have work on Saturday and thank you for making my life worse by calling. I have lost count on the amount of people that tell me they have spent 3 hrs on the phone and they want it fixed yesterday, THEN CALL YESTERDAY!!!!
AND OH MY WORD!!!!!!! THIS STUPID DAY CANNOT END SOON ENOUGH!

Neighbours...
Okay, so it rained last night. Pretty hard, it was a tropical depression and rained and rained and rained! Didn't really stop alot of the day or night.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
My neighbour since I moved into my house always came to me after a heavy rain storm and bitch about her back bedroom in her side of the house being wet. Not a lot of water but enough to put a towel down, soak it up and move on.
She wants me to fix the drainage that is happening in the backyard. She didn't come out and ask but the neighbour behind her asked what I was going to do to fix it because she was getting water too.
If this was such a big deal for so long, why didn't you fix it yourself!
Their solution: Send the water from the back of the house to the front of the house and run it down my driveway and into my rock wall and let it pool there instead. Or let it run down the front yard getting caught in front of our bedroom windows. Not that it can happen anywayz, I would have to go under my deck, and over my basement door or over the backdoor and window. Either way the water would have to travel uphill and, well, we know water doesn't do that nicely!
Yah, right, that isn't going to happen. Dream on!
Better idea, run it along the back of the house and side it down her house and down her hill away from ALL 3 HOUSES! That's a new idea... And guess what, it would work.....
AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I barely have money for my car insurance and they want me to spend money on this to fix their water problem...... I really really dislike people sometimes....
But good news of the day goes to my dad, I love him.
He made my front door work again, he hung two pictures/paper hangers and gave me a hose for my yard! YAY for Dad, what would girls do without their fathers for fixing stuff around their house! :)
Off to the movies later with Lisa, I think we are seeing GI Joe! :) Finally!

Steven Lee Olsen
Okay, so I'm a country fan. I love country music and have been made fun of loving it for, I dunno, 25 years or so. I gave up caring about that when I was like 20 and just like what I like.
BUT there is a reason why I love country music and it's artists.

There is a new and up-incoming artist, Steven Lee Olsen, who I had the pleasure of seeing in concert June 18 at Casino Nova Scotia. He did a live chat tonight at 10pm AST.
Now, I work til 11:30pm AST. I WAS PISSED. I love Steven so much and couldn't do the chat from home, eeeeping like a little girl if he said my name or talked to me, I would be in peace.
That didn't happen. I was at work.
BUT! The chat worked from work. I logged in, watched the chat. I actually put headphones in one ear and had my work customers in the other ear.
Shhhh don't tell my supervisor. She would KILL ME!
But it was amazing! He is so sweet, so cute too. He's about my age from what I can tell.
He ended up answering a few of my questions I posed in the chat and the great part of the chat was that the questions weren't presented to him by another user or admin, he was reading the chat live as it was happening.
I learned that with that kind of what, I need to watch what I'm saying as he was reading EVERYTHING out loud.
The link to the video chat that I will be re-watching on Monday when I get the time:

Good day all!
Movie Night
Typically, me and my best friend Lisa go to movies on Monday. They, when she is teaching, tend to be the hardest days and I'm off on Mondays. But Lisa had other plans on Monday so we went last night instead.Last year, one night when we went to the movies, they had a deal. Two addmissions, a pop, popcorn and $10 in tokens for their arcade. I hung onto the tokens and after moving to my new house, found them Sunday and we decided to waste them in the arcade.
We placed the racing game, I won one, she won one. Next, MY FAVORITE ARACDE GAME EVER! SKEE BALL!!!!!!! (See image above). Best game EVER! Now, I'm not too good at it but I love it! I really love it!
Now Lisa on the other hand had never really played it before and kicked my sorry ass. Oh well, I'm used to her beating me at everything so this was nothing new. :)
Good day!
Argh is the word of the day...
My word of the day: ARGH!
Disclaimer: I LOVE MY JOB! I really do, REALLY REALLY DO!
The word of the day is ARGH for abuot 6 reasons right now, I've had 7 phone calls today from customers and 6 decided that it's more important to complain and say annoying it is when it's taking to long to fix something but when I ask you to do something you still want to go on about how long it's taking, we could have saved ourshelves over 10 maybe 15 minutes. When I ask for the error message, I want the error message. I don't need or want just yet the entire story of your technical support troubleshooting or how you had your child set this all up and make it all work already. When we have 20 or 30 minutes to kill for something to be done, THEN I can talk about your life story and would be interested in knowing.
I just don't get it. Do people really think that if I complain enough or moan and groan about how long it's taking, that I can figure out something all that faster and skip over a bunch of "useless" steps.
I'm sorry, but you would be AMAZED at how many times the "useless" steps solved even the biggest of issues.
So, going back to the word of the day: ARGH!!!!
But I have to say, I'm honest with people, if you ask how long something will take, I will tell you the truth in how long it's going to take. Normally, if you are asking, it's longer then you have! :) HAHA.
Ending for now, need to finish up my nightly diabetes med dose... talk later!
